What I've noticed, 70% of SLR/DSLR users are just buying it to make fun of it or they can say that they bought an SLR/DSLR or become "in" to the society. It is just here only in the Philippines. While the remaining 30% of SLR/DSLR users are just have a talent in Photography so they earned money and willingfully they bought an SLR/DSLR for their passion.
The clues if your friend, or your relatives just being cool to his or her SLR/DSLR:
- If your friend always brings it anywhere and tells about his or her new gadget.
- If his or her profile picture in Facebook is getting a shot with his or her SLR/DSLR.
- After a couple of months boastfulling about his or her SLR/DSLR, let's see if he or she still uses his or her SLR/DSLR. If he or she doesn't use already that gadget, that's the strongest point that he or she just want to be cool or in.
