Pol Medina Jr. (The Author of Pugad Baboy) has been fired out.

Pol Medina (The Maker of Pugad Baboy) has been fired out by the Philippine Daily Inquirer because of his latest comic strip:

I'm not really a fan of Pugad Baboy. I know Pugad Baboy has been there since I was a lad and people from the streets are always talking about it. It's been like a blockbuster hit (in films). But in my opinion I'm with Pol Medina's side.

1. Gay and Lesbian people are living here for decades. If you look back at their history, they're always bullied and living a massive, miserable life. But now society had been open to those gay and lesbian people and it's fine. But the society is not entirely open for them. Other small community groups condemn these people and refuse to accept their sanities. I mean why would they criticise gay and lesbian people for being gay and lesbian? In the first place they don't even want to be gays and lesbians but that's what they want to be.

2. For PDI (Philippine Daily Inquirer) you should give Pol Medina Jr. to preach what is meant to be preached because as a writer, he has the freedom to criticise groups of people for them to open their eyes to the real fact that they're doing the wrong thing. I just read other blogposts related to this issue and they said that Pol Medina had been writing anti-Marcos strips from Pugad Baboy and that's his suspicion why he had been fired out but after the first appearance of this strip in March, as a reason for PDI to fire him. 3. This is the fact. In my case my school (I won't name) has been practising Catholicism—like every morning the soundclip of the Morning Offering Prayer roars in the entire campus and every student should be queued up right outside of their classroom reciting the prayer. And we have first friday Masses every first friday of the month. And weekly by batch we need to go to our chapel and pray the Rosary. And in every class period especially the opening prayer in each subject, you need to have your bible and read the passage of the day. We also have CLE (Christian Living Experience) subject which our school prioritises I think. Yes in our city here they say that our school is one of the exclusive schools here and maybe studying in an exclusive school is not really worth it. Most of the exclusive schools nowadays are close-minded. For example, in our school, in PE uniform you should only wear white shoes (dominant white but they prefer all white) and if you don't, they'll give yiu tickets and if you reach for the number of tickets for suspension, you'll be suspended. Yeah, I don't really know the connection of that in our studies but the school administration's excuse is it's for the practice of simplicity. I can even remember that our CLE teacher said, "The Church accepts Gays and Lesbians, but not in a form of Gay and Lesbian Marriage." Okay so our school (being a Catholic School) accepts Gays and Lesbians? Maybe yep. Several gay people from our school has a number of friends from the faculty and they think they're buddies. So maybe they accept. But if you look at the fact of the other schools like St. Scho and Don Bosco (Don Bosco are all-boys school and St. Scho is all-girls school), there are reports that St. Scho has many lesbian students and Don Bosco has many gay students. Pol Medina Jr. has the point.

(PS. I really hope our school won't read this I might be suspended.)
